We have launched a campaign to celebrate and recognize organizations with high staff COVID-19 booster vaccination rates throughout North Dakota and South Dakota. Organizations that meet this milestone will be provided a Staff COVID-19 Vaccination Booster Champion Certificate as well as a press release to modify and submit to your local media or post to your organization’s web site or company newsletter.

Organizations that have met the 75% (or greater) staff COVID-19 booster vaccination rate, please submit your current rate via the form below.

Dee KaserCOVID-19 vaccines continue to be effective at preventing severe illness, hospitalization and death due to COVID-19. A booster shot helps extend that protection to keep you and those you care for healthy. GPQIN wants to recognize organizations that have reached a rate of 75% or more of staff that have received a booster and how they accomplished their staff being ‘up-to-date’ with COVID-19 vaccinations,” shared Dee Kaser, RN, CDCES; Great Plains QIN Quality Improvement Advisor

The virus is still a very real threat and we must continue to do all that we can to protect our community members and loved ones. We will continue to encourage vaccinations and ask our healthcare partners to follow safety guidelines, such as wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and conducting regular testing. Each of us have been impacted by the pandemic and through vaccination, we can prevent the spread to our friends, family and community.

For those organizations that achieve 75% (or greater) of staff with a booster vaccination, Great Plains QIN applauds your efforts and are pleased to recognize your efforts and accomplishments!

The COVID-19 Staff Vaccination Ambassador Campaign was recently retired. Congratulations to the 119 community partners and nursing homes who reached the 75% vaccination mark. We know this is not easy and your efforts are to be celebrated. Thanks also to those organizations who shared their tips and best practices; that information proved to be incredibly valuable for others struggling to increase vaccination rates.
