What information do we collect?

When you visit www.greatplainsqin.org  we will not collect any personally-identifiable information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us.  For example, If you choose to request more information from us or register for a training event or e-mail newsletter, we will ask you to provide detailed contact information.  This information may include your e-mail address, name, home or work address business name or telephone number; and other additional information so we can best respond to your request.  You are not required to provide this information and may visit our site anonymously.

Great Plains Quality Innovation Network and our Internet Service Provider (ISP) also utilize analytic programs that collect information about your computer hardware and software.  This information may include: IP address, date and time of visit, browser type, domain names, referring Web site location of visitors machine (by state and city only) and pages visited.  Most Web sites collect these statistics to better understand their site visitors and make improvements to better the user experience.  Great Plains Quality Innovation Network does not share or transmit this information to any other party or organization.

Great Plains Quality Innovation Network recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of healthcare information. We caution anyone from transmitting such information via standard Internet e-mail, or submitting this information through forms on our Web site because we cannot guarantee confidentiality or privacy of any healthcare information transmitted across the World Wide Web.
