Digging into Data
This webinar data series is designed to help healthcare professionals at all levels understand data in a way that will aid in achieving and sustaining progress with the goal of gaining data independence.
This webinar introduced participants to the world of data and some of the common healthcare-related data sets. Information such as brief statistics related to healthcare as well as factors relating to data trends and understanding what they mean were discussed.
This webinar will illustrate how data can be useful for clinicians and provide feedback on their practice. Examples of what variables might be of interest to clinicians versus administrative staff, how information retrieved in individual encounters translates to a larger picture, and how this information can be used to inform and improve patient care will be discussed.
This webinar will demonstrate how data can aid in quality improvement among clinicians. We will examine how to use data to further improve relationships between clinicians and patients, which may improve satisfaction scores. Discussion will include how data can help prepare for future health care needs and trends.
This webinar will address special topics from the first four webinars in this series and will provide a platform for peer-to-peer sharing of data-use successes from North Dakota providers.
