The team from the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) will discuss Medicated Assisted Treatment, stigma, resources and motivational interviewing.
This Webinar will help you better understand what is available for substance use disorder in South Dakota. Fortunately, many of the best practices and initiatives could also be implemented in North Dakota.The speakers will also share methods to identify patients at risk for Substance Use Disorder and how to implement current best practices regarding opioid use.
Speakers:
Loretta Bryan, BSN, RN, CPHQ, graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1997 and has been a nurse for 24 years. Her experience includes nursing home, hospital, nurse management, clinic and home health. She has been with South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) for two years. | |
Michelle Hofer, BSN, RN CPHQ, graduated from South Dakota State University in 2000 and has been a nurse for 22 years. Her experience includes hospital, clinic, hospice & home health, research and public health. She has been with the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) for 1 ½ years. |
