Surgical site infections are dangerous, costly and preventable. Everyone in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) has a role in preventing them. The new infographic, “It Takes a Team,” has tips for ASC leaders, caregivers, patients and families on ways they can keep patients safe from harm.
The infographic was developed as part of the AHRQ Safety Program for Ambulatory Surgery, a national safety effort funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. Share it with your entire team as well as patients and families.
