It is National Nurses Month. The first week is all about self-care.
Nursing is a rewarding and challenging profession so it’s critical you have access to authentic support systems and tools. Prioritize your self-care by engaging in healthy activities that target both your body and mind. Selflessly showing up for others is an incredible task, but often, those closest to the health care system are at the highest risk of burnout. Therefore, the first week of national nurses month is all about self-care. We encourage you to take a moment to pause and consider what you need for yourself and your well-being.
