The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention has designated August as National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM). It is the perfect time to reach out to healthcare providers and patients to make sure they are immunized with all of their recommended vaccinations. Flu + You is a national public education program from the National Council on Aging and Sanofi Pasteur created to educate seniors and their caregivers about the seriousness of the flu, the importance of annual vaccination and available vaccine options. Visit NCOA.org/Flu for tools and resources regarding seniors and influenza prevention.
Help Advocate is a Sanofi Pasteur Campaign designed to encourage people to help advocate for the importance of immunizations for vaccine-preventable diseases. Visit the Sanofi Pasteur site for tools you can use to help advocate the need for immunizations within your networks and communities.
