American Diabetes Association Alert DayTuesday, March 24, American Diabetes Association Alert Day®, is a “wake-up call” when the Association asks the public and our supporters to help us spread awareness about the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. As the Association celebrates its 75th anniversary, we’re calling on you to help us: Take it. Share it. Step Out.

You can help by doing the following:

As you know, there has never been a more urgent time to know your risk. An estimated 86 million, or one in three American adults, have prediabetes. We can’t waste any time. Encourage the public to take the Diabetes Risk Test and share it with everyone they care about by visiting diabetes.org/alert. After taking the test, they can begin the path toward living a healthier and more active lifestyle by signing up for one of our nationwide Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes® events.

Thank you for your support. With your help, we will Stop Diabetes®!
