Kepro is the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization (also referred to as a BFCC-QIO) for 29 states, including North Dakota and South Dakota. KEPRO works to improve the quality of care for Medicare beneficiaries. Visit their Web site for beneficiary and family-centered care information for providers, patients, and families.
Kepro will soon be known as Acentra Health. Providers will be encouraged to update beneficiary notices by replacing “Kepro” with “Acentra Health,” but notices with the QIO name of “Kepro” listed will still be accepted and validated.
