national influenza vaccination week photo

December 5 – 9, 2022 is National Influenza Vaccination Week; a critical opportunity to remind everyone 6 months and older that there’s still time to protect themselves and their loved ones from the flu this season by getting their annual flu vaccine.

Currently, flu activity is elevated across the country, so this week will serve to remind people that there is still time to benefit from the first and most important action in preventing flu illness and potentially serious flu complications. CDC encourages everyone to get their annual flu vaccine—especially those with chronic medical conditions and those who are pregnant. Get the word out using CDC’s 2022 NIVW Digital Media Toolkit that includes social media messages, sample blurbs, a flyer/poster, and patient reminders.
