Clinical staff serving American Indian & Alaska Native people are invited to participate in the Effectively Integrating Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services into Primary Care virtual training. Learn more.

This 4-hour virtual training program provides comprehensive and practical information to effectively integrate substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and management into primary care practice. The training program includes an opportunity to engage in didactic presentations, become part of a learning community, and join the Indian Country SUD ECHO programs.

In this series of presentations, you’ll hear from the multi-disciplinary team at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Charlestown HealthCare Center. Their clinical director, nurse manager, and recovery coach will provide an overview of their integration model. A primary care physician will also discuss their personal experiences in stepping into this new role and practice. Another primary care physician will also review best practices related to the treatment and management of SUDs by highlighting clinical application and key clinical pearls.
