Group of People Planning Ideas

North Dakota State University wants to hear from businesses and organizations who help older adults and people with disabilities stay in the home by renovating (or changing) the home or recommending assistive technology (i.e., home modification). Modifications can range from something as simple as replacing cabinet doorknobs with pull handles to full-scale construction projects that require installing wheelchair ramps and widening doorways. The main benefit of making home modifications is so that those living with a disability or physical limitations can continue to live independently and safely in their own homes.

This survey seeks input from nonprofit or government agencies, health care professionals and construction firms who are involved in the home modification process. If this describes you, please complete the survey by August 31, 2024. The results of this survey will be used to inform future educational and outreach efforts about home modification. Thank you for your time and consideration; your participation is appreciated in making this a meaningful study.
