2016 Adult Immunization Schedule and Immunizing Adults: Challenges and Opportunities
Tuesday, March 8th 2016
2:00 – 3:00 pm (CT)
Each year, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) publishes an adult immunization schedule that outlines recommended routine immunizations for adults in the United States. Despite these recommendations, immunization coverage rates for adults have persistently remained low. In this WebEx, the presenter will provide an overview the 2016 adult immunization schedule, review the latest adult immunization coverage rates and identify challenges and opportunities in immunizing adults in the United States.
The presenter is David Kim, MD, MA, CAPT, Public Health Service with the Immunization Services Division with the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This is an excellent opportunity, brought to you in partnership with the Health Services Advisory Group, the Quality Innovation Network National Coordinating Center and the CDC. We hope you are able to attend.
