The Great Plains QIN team recently developed the “High-Risk Medicines: Facts for Consumers” tool which aims to empower and educate individuals about the potential dangers associated with certain medications. This tool can help individuals better understand high-risk medications, their inherent risks and how they may affect one’s well-being. As a care provider community, we can utilize this tool to help patients and family members understand the side effects of certain medications, address concerns and answer questions.
