Fit & Strong! is a national evidence-based physical activity program that targets older adults with osteoarthritis and has demonstrated significant functional and physical activity improvements in this population. A Fit & Strong Instructor Training is now available in North Dakota.

Fit & Strong! Goals:
- Improve exercise frequency
- Reduce arthritis-related joint pain and stiffness
- Increase strength
- Improve confidence in ability to exercise
Deadline for registration: November 11, 2022
There is no cost for the 2-day training. The customary fee of $375 is waived due to a grant from the ND Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services. Attendees will be reimbursed for mileage, lodging and meals. Master Trainers for this training are Shaundra Ziemann-Bolinske, Danielle Dinger and Ronda Gripentrog.
