Evidence suggests hospital readmissions and all-cause mortality rates are reduced when patients who have experienced a heart attack participate in a cardiac rehabilitation program. However, even as providers are striving to improve and sustain the quality of delivered cardiovascular care, this is often a missed opportunity.
During this webinar, leading national experts will discuss the diseases/diagnoses that qualify a patient to participate in cardiac rehab and the services that are included. Presenters will also review available alternatives for those patients who are unable to attend an outpatient program.

This activity is pending approval of 1.75 hours of continuing education (CE) credit from the Alabama State Nurses Association, an accredited approver of nursing continuing education through the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).
