National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month kicks off in New York City with a special live broadcast on Wednesday, March 1 at 1:00 p.m. (CT) that will feature many celebrity guests dedicated to the cause.
Great Plains Quality Innovation Network (QIN) team members, Judy Beck (North Dakota) and Nancy Beaumont (South Dakota), will be attending the LIVE event in New York City to receive the National Colorectal Cancer Round Table’s (NCCRT’s) 80% by 2018 National Achievement Award on behalf of the Great Plains QIN.
Representatives from Fight Colorectal Cancer, the American Cancer Society, the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable, the Mayo Clinic, Stand Up To Cancer, The Entertainment Industry Foundation’s National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance, and Exact Sciences will be joining the live event to promote colorectal cancer screening and participate in the award ceremony.
