She is a nationally recognized expert in Diabetes Self-Management Education/Training operations, reimbursement, clinical plans, continuous quality improvement plans and sustainability.
- Describe the beneficiary eligibility criteria for Medicare DSMT
- State the three lab tests for diagnosing T1 and T2 diabetes, one of which Medicare requires for DSMT beneficiary eligibility
- List the three conditions for reimbursement of ten initial DSMT hours as individual visits
- Describe three of the key and unique Medicare coverage guidelines for DSMT telehealth
