The Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) Open School exists to advance quality improvement and patient safety competencies in health professionals. Open School courses are broken into digestible, 15- to 40-minute lessons. IHI is providing free access to 8 of their courses which offer 9.75 continuing education credits, in an effort to provide useful knowledge and inspire confidence in the coming weeks and months.
The courses include topics on quality improvement, leadership, patient safety, and person and family centered care. The courses are available through May 31, 2020. Additional information can be found on the IHI website.
