Calendar with coffee

Early in 2020 the North Dakota Healthcare Partners Events Calendar (NDHPEC)—a collaborative effort between Quality Health Associates of North Dakota (QHA) and the Center for Rural Health (CRH)—was launched. The calendar provides a repository in a simple, streamlined format designed to connect individuals in the healthcare and community service fields to educational opportunities from across the state.

ND Healthcare Partners LogoNorth Dakota partners are committed to offering high quality on-site and virtual education, and this “one-stop shop” format allows the opportunity to effectively coordinate educational events and enhance their visibility. All partners in North Dakota are invited to register their organization and begin adding events to the calendar.

Access the website at www.ndhpec.com and register to become a partner to begin adding your events.

Not all of an organization’s activities are appropriate for inclusion on this shared statewide calendar. The event should:

  • Affect a large number of people and/or organizations
  • Target individuals or organizations specifically related to healthcare, health insurance, health communications or health information technology
  • Target individuals or organizations in the state of North Dakota

Examples of events that should be included are statewide training and events, annual conferences, large group or community meetings.

Keri McDermott Headshot“The North Dakota Healthcare Partners Events Calendar has been very helpful for our team. We use the calendar as a reference when planning trainings and events to avoid dates and duplication. The site also provides an opportunity for us to cross-promote our learning events. Becoming a ‘partner’ was easy; we have recently added our upcoming community coalition meetings as well as our bi-state learning and action network events. Thanks to Quality Health Associates of North Dakota and the Center for Rural Health for providing this comprehensive calendar and service for the healthcare community in North Dakota.” added Keri McDermott, communications director with the Great Plains Quality Innovation Network.
