Carter is one of less than 4,000 pharmacists in the country with Board Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy. Since 2017, she has traveled to long-term care facilities around the state, performed monthly medication reviews, and consulted on pharmacy issues. She currently serves as the President-Elect for the South Dakota Pharmacists Association and was recognized as the 2018 Distinguished Young Pharmacist for South Dakota.

Continuing Education

A certificate of participation will be provided to all attendees to submit to their organization and/or licensing body for CE credit. Great Plains Quality Innovation Network is an approved provider of continuing education by the North Dakota Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators and the South Dakota Board of Nursing Facility Administrators.
