The ability to develop, test and implement change is essential for any individual, group or organization that wants to improve. One way to implement change is to utilize the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycle. The PDSA cycle is part of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Model for Improvement. This simple yet powerful tool helps accelerate quality improvement. The PDSA cycle is easy to follow and adaptable to any organization.
Recognizing that February is national heart month, the presenter will include examples of cardiac health and the components of the Million Hearts® initiative during the presentation.
Join us as we learn how to utilize the PDSA cycle and how to apply these steps in your health care organization..
