As a Hy-Vee dietitian, Johnna assists customers in the aisle, guiding them to the most healthful and delicious choices for their lifestyle. She also provides nutrition counseling for patients with a variety of concerns, including weight loss, IBS and hypertension. Prior to Hy-Vee, Johnna spent five years as an Extension Educator with Nebraska Extension providing hands on nutrition education for elementary students and working closely with school food service staff across Nebraska to increase participation in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs.
Johnna is an active member of the Nebraska Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and has been a member of the non-elected board since becoming a dietitian. Johnna truly enjoys food and strives to help patients and customers find balance with food that is healthy and tasty.
