Medication Safety LAN Series

There is no single solution to the opioid epidemic.  It will require a collaborative approach with variety of community partners to address factors such as pain management, treatment, and societal impact. This webinar will provide an overview of these approaches and introduce the Great Plains QIN Medication LAN series.

Target Audience:

Clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, home health, hospice, public health, government, consumers and families, and all community partners impacted by the opioid epidemic.

Objectives:

Upon completion of the WebEx, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the need for community approach to address the opioid epidemic
  2. Describe the five pillars identified by the North Dakota Reducing Pharmaceutical Narcotics in Our Communities Task Force
  3. Introduce the Great Plain QIN Medication LAN series
