Prescription drug monitoring programs (PDMPs) are a valuable tool to improve patient care and coordination and public safety by reducing drug diversion and inappropriate use. This event includes PDMP staff from throughout the Great Plains region in a roundtable discussion on optimizing PDMP utilization. The first webinar in this series will focus on opportunities to integrate the PDMPs with electronic health records and how some organizations have successfully completed this integration.

Target Audience:

Clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, home health, hospice, public health, government, consumers and families, and all community partners who will benefit from a PDMP discussion.


Upon completion of the WebEx, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe options in your state to integrate PDMP and EHRs
  2. Discuss how some organization have integrated PDMP utilization into their workflows
