The Federal Quality Measures continue to be the focal point of the faculty report card on Nursing Home Compare and serve as a baseline for developing value-based payment systems for Medicare. With new QMs recently added and more on the way, having a clear understanding of how QMs are captures and how to build a strong QM program is more important than ever. The final session in our MDS webinar series will help you to connect QM scores to Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) plans. We will describe some common misunderstandings and pitfalls around QM accuracy and system improvements. Achieving high QM scores takes the entire team working together!
