By attending this event, participants will gain additional knowledge about the IMPACT Act and realize how it will help Long-Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) improve quality of care in their facility.


Target Audience:    

LTC and SNF administrators, nurses and other staff are invited to join this event.



Upon completion of the WebEx, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the IMPACT Act for LTC and SNF
  2. Recognize how the IMPACT Act affects LTC and SNF communities
  3. Utilize the IMPACT Act to improve quality in LTC and SNF

Johnathan Reeves is a Quality Improvement Consultant in Kansas for the Great Plains Quality Innovation Network. Johnathan has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Washburn University and is also a co-instructor of Nursing Quality and Safety at Washburn University’s School of Nursing. He has spent most of the last 15 years working in long-term care, and the last four years as a quality improvement expert. He also has legislative experience and expertise from working with Kansas legislative leadership and as an auditor at the Kansas Legislative Division of Post Audit. His primary focus in his current role is data and systems analysis focused on QAPI education and implementation.
