Under the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), there are 4 performance categories that affect future Medicare payments. Each performance category is scored by itself and has a specific weight that is part of the MIPS Final Score. This month’s QPP Power Hour will explore the Improvement Activities Category. The MIPS Improvement Activities performance category gauges your participation in activities that improve clinical practice, such as: ongoing care coordination, clinician and patient shared decision-making, regularly using patient safety practices and expanding practice access.

Let’s have a lively, interactive discussion!
This session will be an open discussion format and is an opportune time to seek clarification and guidance on the Quality Payment Program. We urge you to join us to learn, but we also encourage you to come prepared to ask questions, share insights with your peers and express your concerns. We are here to teach, but we’re also here to learn from you!
We look forward to hosting this discussion on July 26. Please feel free to invite other team members who will benefit from participation.
