Project Firstline recently announced the launch of two new Continuing Education (CE) courses on Infection Control, with additional courses scheduled for release throughout the summer.
- Course: Injection Safety: Learn how to safely use a multi-dose vial
This educational activity is made up of two (2) episodes designed to prepare frontline healthcare personnel and the public health workforce to protect themselves, their patients, and their communities from infectious disease threats, focusing on important injection safety actions to take when using multi-dose vials. This series of trainings is intended to present not just the recommended infection control practices, but the science and reasoning behind them.
- Course: PPE Basics: Learn the important role that eye protection, gowns, and gloves play in infection control
This educational activity is made up of four (4) episodes designed to prepare frontline healthcare personnel and the public health workforce to protect themselves, their patients, and their communities from infectious disease threats, focusing on important personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, gloves, and gowns. This series of trainings is intended to present not just the recommended infection control practices, but the science and reasoning behind them.
