Open to nursing home leaders, clinical and administrative staff members and others interested in nursing home infection prevention in the era of COVID-19.

Following this call, participants will possess the knowledge and understand approaches to supporting the health and well-being of older adults, their care partners, nursing home team members, and other stakeholders during COVID-19.

As a result of attending, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss guidance on nursing home workforce safety
  2. Discuss two or more ways to communicate with residents, care partners and between direct care staff and management during COVID-19

The National CMS/CDC Nursing Home COVID-19 Training is brought to you by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the QIO Program, a national network of Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN-QIOs) serving every state and territory.

Skilled Nursing Facility Quality Reporting Program COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Tip Sheet

This tip sheet is designed to assist Skill Nursing Facility (SNF) providers in understanding the status of the SNF Quality Reporting Program (QRP) during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE). Also provided is practical guidance to address SNF quality data submission requirements starting July 1, 2020, now that the temporary SNF QRP exemptions from the COVID-19 PHE have ended.
