Patient Safety Awareness Week, March 12-18, 2017

Patient Safety Week is a highlight of the United for Patient Safety Campaign, an initiative of the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF).  Various activities to raise awareness about patient safety among health professionals and the public will be held throughout the week.  A complimentary webcast titled “The Voice of the Patient and the Public” is being hosted on March 15 and NPSF is encouraging those on social media to demonstrate the fact that “We are all patients”  by posting photos of themselves in hospital gowns or in patient care settings and using the hashtags #WeAreAllPatients #UnitedforPatientSafety #PSAW2017.
