The AMA resources support many of the initiatives of the Great Plains Quality Innovation Network, including care coordination, diabetes care, health information technology, the opioid epidemic and the Quality Payment Program. We invited experts from the American Medical Association (AMA) to offer an overview of these extensive, evidence-based resources on a recent WebEx.

“Physicians are transforming their practices into organizations that can achieve the Quadruple Aim — better patient experience, better population health and lower overall costs with improved professional satisfaction. Steps Forward is a comprehensive accumulation of resources that cover so many important topics. They are easily accessible, providers can get FREE CME credits and participation in the program can count for MIPS Improvement Activities. The strategies are broken down into manageable sections and will help physicians and their staff be well-positioned to thrive in the new health care environment,” stated Patti Kritzberger, RHIT, CHPS – Great Plains QIN HIT Quality Improvement Specialist.

“Steps Forward looks like a very valuable tool for me and our practice. I will share with our PCMH steering team and providers overall.” – WebEx attendee

“All the information is available to use for improving practices, great resources, ideals and processes already identified. Thank you for offering this educational opportunity.” – WebEx attendee
