Each year, more than 1.6 million older U.S. adults go to emergency departments for fall-related injuries. Among older adults, falls are the number one cause of fractures, hospital admissions for trauma, loss of independence and injury deaths¹. Falls are costly-in dollars and in quality of life. Caregivers and those at-risk for a fall can be partners and participants in falls prevention!

The good news is that falling is not a normal part of aging. Join this webinar to learn steps you can take to prevent a fall. This event will also highlight helpful resources from the National Council on Aging’s National Falls Prevention Resource Center and information provided by the National Alliance for Caregiving.
