Overview and Purpose:

Key patient-centered care topics will be presented in 15-20 minute webinar segments highlighting provider and clinician perspectives while introducing corresponding resources and tools during the Provider Perspectives on Patient-Centered Care webinar series.

“Patient-Centered Equals Quality” is the eighth webinar in the series. As with any business, patient satisfaction of the health services and resulting outcome impacts the bottom line.  Policies and workflows can create efficiencies, but are they producing the the results the patient expects?

Tad Jacobs, DO
Chief Medical Officer, Avera Medical Group

Dr.Tad Jacobs is Chief Medical Officer with Avera Medical Group. He received his degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, and is board certified in family medicine. He has been a practicing physician in South Dakota for 35 years. Dr. Jacobs is a member of the South Dakota State Medical Association, American Medical Association, and the American Osteopathic Association. He is passionate about bringing quality care to rural communities. He continues to live with his wife Kathy on their farm north of Flandreau where they enjoy playing with their six grandchildren.
